The Icosahedron

I posted this on Gamer+ Delta Boogie Network.

My daughter and my grandson helped me work on the walkway to the HairyLarryLand out of control room this morning.

Trusses up and we started installing the ribbon.

Which got me thinking. So I replied.

The icosahedron had been a dream of mine for years and I'm glad I did the project. It was way more work than I thought it would be and I'm a ground up/major remodel/do it all carpenter.

Every cut had angles. All the trim had compound angles. (Where you put your saw at an angle and then cut an angle on the board.) Even the shingles took angle cuts on over half of the shingles.

It's a good sound space. Anyone who wants to do this should try to find an easier way to do it.
